Snowbird Regrets

Being able to spend winters in greener and warmer climates than my native Minnesota is a privilege that I truly appreciate and enjoy but like everything else is life there is a down side. I miss seeing family and friends over the 5 months we are gone. I especially miss celebrating special events with my family. It’s always the same birthdays that I miss and seeing sporting events and scout gatherings. This year I miss my oldest grandson’s confirmation.

I hope that he knows how much I miss celebrating this milestone with him. My bit of paper that I’ve made to let him know that I’m thinking of him holds lots of love.

I’ve combined several stamp sets from different eras. A simple cross from the Blessed by God (2015ish), a greeting from the All God’s Grace (2016ish), and a tag from the Paper Tags (2025).

The bright designer paper was chosen from the Full of Life DSP pack to represent sunshine. The gold dove embellishments to represent peace.

The inside goes for a humorous feeling with the circles die cut with the Spotlight on Nature dies and the cute greeting from the Paper Tags stamp set.

I hope that Bryson has a fun day and everyone knows that I’m there in spirit.
