Hello and happy Friday! I’m a bit late posting today because I was working outside transplanting my flowers. By the time I was done I needed a nap! It sure is a beautiful day, the sun is shining and it’s warm but not too hot.

Today I have my absolute favorite swap card that I’ve received so far from this annual catalog. It uses the Notes & Totes Bundle and was created by my friend Beth Stein. I met Beth and Terry Betlewski during an online training and we enjoyed our conversations so much that we continue to meet at least monthly on Zoom. I hope someday that we can meet in person!

I just love the bright colors and this fun Designer Paper! It’s the new Online Exclusive, Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper and it coordinates with an entire suite of products. It’s on my wish list!

I love how Beth has sliced the paper at an angle and then used both the front and back of the DSP. Place two 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ with the same sides facing each other and cut at an angle (measure and mark at 3″ from opposite corners if you want it exact). This will give two sets to create two cards.

The DSP is layered onto a Basic Black Layer that is 4″ x 5 1/4″ set on a Basic White Thick card base.

All of the fun die cuts come from the Notes & Totes Die set. The pretty sparkly gems are from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gem pack. I had overlooked these in the Online Exclusives!

The inside is pretty bright and cheerful too, with lots of room to write a personal note!

Online Scrapbooking Event!

This is a new and exciting event for Stampin’ Up! If you ever attended a Close to My Heart Virtual Scrap Event, this event should be similar to the ones that they hosted. To register for the event, purchase the kit and you will be invited to join the private Facebook Group where the event will take place.
