Impressions Abloom

Good Morning! I’m in a tizzy this morning realizing that I only have less than a week to get ready for my Open House on Sunday! Nothing like putting off today what you can do tomorrow, UNTIL it’s tomorrow, lol. So, I’ve got a couple of cards that I don’t think I’ve shared yet that were made at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage Convention back in March.

As I’m looking at the photo, I now remember why I didn’t share these cards lol, they were not my best work. The crafting took place late at night after a full day of events. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

Anyway the layouts are still awesome and so is the technique. Just ignore the ragged edges on the paper and the uneven spacing.

The images were all stamped on the white layer using the Impressions Abloom stamp set, part of the Floral Impressions Suite Collection. If you haven’t already purchased this Suite, be sure to check it out! June is the perfect time to purchase it, during the Suite Collection SALE.

The first card has two diagonal cuts made to create the ‘puzzle’ effect. The second card only has one cut.

The first card uses a piece of white that is 4″ x 5 1/4″ while the second card ‘s piece is 3 1/2″ x 4″. The sizes could vary depending on the stamps used.

I like the technique of cutting a greeting apart and spreading the words out. It also works for creating a new greeting from several greetings that are available but not exactly what’s needed.

Some of the new 2025-2027 In Colors are used on these cards. I’m really warming up to this set of colors! Ironically, my favorite, Secret Sea isn’t used on these cards.

Some Strawberry Slush ink was sponged onto the greeting and the end was cut with a scissor to create the flag.

My Open House is Sunday, June 22 from 1 – 4 pm at the Roost. If you live in the area I hope you can come. For those who don’t live close, I will be doing a virtual Open House on my Creative Chicks Facebook group on Monday, June 23 around 11 am. If you aren’t already a member I hope that you join. I’ll walk through the sample boards and make and take. Also, I will extend my garage sale for you. The items in my garage sale are half off the original price, OR, if you place an order on Monday you can choose items for up to the amount of your purchase for free. All you pay is the shipping.

Now, I need to get a move on getting ready for the Open House! Hope you have a less stressful day than what I seem to be having!

Product List–Please note that the Cloud Cover ink did not play well with the foam in the large ink pads, so as a work around, purchase the ink refill and Uninked Stampin’ Spots. Add a few drops of ink to the spot and you’re ready to stamp.
