Yesterday, just as I was going downstairs to get a birthday card for my daughter-in-law, the UPS truck showed up with my Stampin’ Up! order. I was going to use a card from my already completed cards BUT there was the Tractor & Co Bundle. I had just enough time before we left for the birthday party to make a card. Just last week my daughter-in-law posted a video of them baling hay at their new home. The whole family was out helping (the teenager didn’t look super happy about it, lol). Both she and my son grew up on farms, but they have lived in town until just recently. I knew that she would enjoy the hay baling themed card.

Our tractor (which they borrowed to make hay) is a John Deer, so I used Garden Green and Crushed Curry to mimic the colors for the tractor. I wish that there were square hay bales but the round ones give the hay baling vibe too.

I added some chickens on the inside, because they have plans to get some of those too. I really miss my chickens. I haven’t had any in over 10 years, since a tornado took my chicken coop. I especially liked raising the little fluffy babies. It was so much fun watching them under their heat lamp.
