Swap Card Friday

Today’s card is a birthday card that I received from my friend Sandy Reid. It’s a really cool fun fold featuring the die cuts from the Everyday Arches. I’ve been holding out on buying these dies but I really want them! I’ve seen so many cute cards made using them.

The card features a flap created with two layers of the die cuts. Sandy has used the pretty Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper with Petunia Pop and Basic White cardstock.

I’m not sure which stamp sets she used for the card and she couldn’t remember either, lol. She did think that they were from retired sets.

Paper Dimensions:

  • Card Base 7 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Colored arch 2 5/16″ x 3 9/16″
  • Basic White arch 2″ x 3 1/4″ 2 pieces
  • Basic White 4″ x 5 1/4″ for inside
  • DSP 3″ x 5 1/4″
  • DSP 1″ x 5 1/4″
  • Cardstock for flapper 1″ x 3″ scored at 1 1/2″

The extra embellishment and oops! added an extra chuckle to my day. A handmade card is always special.

Hope you have a wonderful day. Stop by tomorrow for my monthly STARS Challenge card. This month I’ve combined it with several cards using the Sunrise Sailing stamp set.
