Happy Monday! I think I’m recovered from the Virtual Album Retreat. Wow! I haven’t worked that hard since I retired. I’d forgotten how physically hard it is to sit in a chair for 8 hours. It was an awesome event and if you missed it, you can still purchase the Month By Month Kit and watch the recorded presentations. It might actually be easier than trying to keep up live.

Today I have a card using some products from the Florals in Bloom Suite found in the annual catalog on pages 40-47. I don’t remember the last time Stampin’ Up! gave a suite 7 whole pages! If you need inspiration on using these products the catalog is a great place to start.

The Florals in Bloom Suite has 2 stamp set bundles. I got the Pretty Florals stamp set at OnStage and haven’t purchased the Sweet Blooms Bundle, which contains greetings, so I’ve paired today’s card up with greetings from The Right Words (a must have set!).

For the greeting I stamped each word of the greeting separately and did the ‘good’ on Timid Tiger while the other words are spread out on a strip of Darling Duckling.

The beautiful flowers are all fussy cut from the Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper with a couple of die cut stems and leaves. the center yellow flower and the word good are popped up with dimensionals. The 3″ x 4″ patterned paper in the background is also from the Florals in Bloom Designer Paper.

The gems are also from the Suite and are the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls. I love the embellishments that are flat and mail well.

For the inside of the card, I added one of the floral stamps. The leaves are done in Secret Sea and the petals Summer Splash. The first time that I stamped the details on the flowers I didn’t wait long enough and the inks bled together too much, so I ended up stamping it again to get the detail lines darker.

Hope today is the start of a great week for you. I’m looking forward to spending some time with my grandson Isaac. He has been hanging out with us old folks every other week this summer and we are really enjoying getting to know him better. He goes back and forth between his mom and dad so sometimes it gets pretty hectic and we don’t see him much.
