With the cooler weather I start thinking about curling up on the couch with some popcorn and a good movie. This card using the Poppin’ By stamp set is great for my mood.

This card is super simple to make and doesn’t require any special tools. There are matching Poppin’ By Dies but this card doesn’t use them. The white banner is created using a scissors. Simply mark the middle with a ruler and pencil, cut a snip up as deep as you want the flag, and then cut from each corner to meet the cut line in the middle. Of course, if you want to make a perfect banner, the Party Banner Dies are your best friend!

To make the popcorn yellow and the box red, simply carefully ink the stamp on the edge of the ink pad with the yellow ink first getting only the popcorn and then flip the stamp and ink the red. You can see in the close-up photo that I caught a snip of the popcorn with the red, darn.
