Tractor & Co

When you live on a farm tractors are a part of life every day of the year, but with all the apple orchards, fall brings tractors into everyone’s lives. I thought that I had already posted these cards but when I went to check I didn’t see them in any posts so here they are.

This card was one that we did at a Creative Cards Class here at The Roost. We used a stamp positioner (Stamparatus) for the straw stacks and the black inked items. I want those tires nice and solid! For the straw stacks we ‘jumped’ the notches on the Stamparatus to position the stacks. I’m not sure if other stamp positioners have the notches, but on the Stamparatus the plates attach into notches, like fingers, and the plates can be ‘jumped’ along the notches to move the image.

The Timeless Plaid Designer Paper fits well with the farm theme on the inside of the card. This greeting comes from the retired So Sincere stamp set.

This was the first version of the card. Several of my ladies have the Stamparatus so I thought they would enjoy learning a new technique (jumping) to expand the use of their tools so I added in more straw stacks.

Here is a version using the Boho Vibes DSP for the background and Secret Sea cardstock for the first matte. It seemed a bit wild but is definitely more vibrant, lol. I think of this card as the early morning version with the rooster crowing, lol.

I hope that you enjoy your beautiful fall day! Visit an apple orchard and enjoy some apple treats, and take a hay ride!
