Swap Card Friday

Happy Friday! Today I have two cards created by some talented stampers who happen to be my friends. The cards use the GORGEOUS Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper, and this paper is aptly named. One side has scenery or floral images and the other side has patterns. The first thing that pops into my mind when I look at this paper pack is Romantic Victorian.

Sue has used a ‘back side’ of the paper to cover a Basic Beige card front completely. Next, a ‘front side’ of the Beautiful Gallery paper is cut to about 2″ x 4″ and is framed with Early Espresso which has been die cut with the Gallery Blooms Dies. A knotted piece of Basic Beige Ribbon is tied around the frame with a greeting from the Beautiful Motifs sprouting from it. The Mossy Meadow sprig is die cut from the Pretty Florals Die set. Three Pressed Flower Motifs Embellishments finish off the card.

Brenda’s card also uses a Basic Beige card base. She has teamed it up with Secret Sea matte layers for a very classic color combo. The floral layer of the paper is 3″x5″ with a 1 1/4″ x 5″ piece of a ‘backside’ of another pattern of the paper, torn and added to the left edge. The birthday greeting is from the Loveliest Tree stamp set, while the floral sprigs are die cut from the Charming Day Die set. Both use the Secret Sea/Basic Beige combo of colors. Three Charming Shimmer Gems and a double white baker’s twine bow complete the card.

Brenda is a member of my Hollywood Stamping Chicks Team. I would love to have you join my team too! All of October is the perfect time to join. There are two options, both are AWESOME DEALS! Deal One is only $35 for $125 of product. Deal Two is only $99 for $189 of product. I think everyone who crafts and isn’t currently a demonstrator should buy a STARTER KIT in October.
