The Winter Scenes stamp set has four beautiful scenes to create a focal point for a pretty card. The images are so peaceful! They are great for Christmas cards or just a cheery hello during a long winter.

Here I’ve used one of the scenes for a snow themed Christmas card. For the die cut label layers I’ve used the Branching Out Die set. When I ordered it I really only wanted these six layers of label dies so I only ordered the die set and not the bundle. WHY DID I DO THAT? Now I really want the matching stamp set too. Every time I only order part of a bundle I ALWAYS wish that I had gotten the whole set!

Doesn’t this snow flake paper match this image perfectly? It’s from the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper pack. The glitter paper also comes from that suite.

The image is very quickly and simply colored with the Watercolor Pencils. It’s hard to see in the photo but the snow on the trees, roof, and snowbanks have been brushed with Wink of Stella to add a little winter magic.

The edges of the image layer have been brushed with Balmy Blue ink. If I do another of these I might try Secret Sea ink instead.

There are no greetings in the Winter Scenes stamp set, so I’ve pulled in a small greeting from the Tractor & Co stamp set.
