Partial Card Front Fun Fold

Today’s card uses a simple slice to create a unique card front. The card starts with a top fold card base and then a flap is created by cutting from the fold to the bottom at 1 1/4″. This flap is then glued down to the inside of the card.

I’ve used products from the AWESOME 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar. The pretty floral paper, postage stamp dies, twine and embellishments all come from the kit.

The kit does include some die cut sprigs and flowers but I used them up in my class so the ones on this card are from some retired paper. The embossing folder was also an item not included in the 12 Days of Crafting kit.

Be sure to watch my Video Tutorial for detail on creating this card.

Here are the paper cutting dimensions:

  • Base 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″ then create a flap by slicing down from the score line at 1 1/4″
  • Designer Paper 3″ x 5 1/2″
  • Basic White 1″ x 5 1/2″ Embossed
  • Basic White 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ for inside
