I’m writing this post while riding shotgun in our truck, heading to Florida. We are somewhere in Missouri. Isn’t GPS wonderful, I no longer have to navigate! It does take us on some unexpected routes sometimes. Like through alleys to avoid a stop light (???). With a 32 foot trailer it can be tricky.

We saw some very icy roads yesterday in Minnesota and Iowa. Highway 35W was actually closed south of highway 90. I was terrified and I wasn’t even driving. I would have turned around at the first roundabout 5 miles from our house!

We spent the night in our camper at a truck stop. I didn’t think to ask my husband if we should unplug the truck from the camper until we were all cozy in bed. So…it took a while this morning to get the truck jumped and running. At least the roads are clear!

This card is to remind all of family and friends that I miss them while I’m away for the winter. I love seeing flowers and green grass in the winter but I sure do miss everyone. Over the years we have made some really good friends in our park in Florida. Now I look forward to seeing them again!
