Valentine’s Week at the Roost

Happy Monday! This week is all about Valentine’s card here at my craft table. Today I have 3 cards that I created with the large Valentine’s Day stamp.

This large stamp is perfect for doing a stack of quick cards. For the first card, the greeting is stamped with VersaMark ink and sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder. I love watching the magic happen when the heat tool is waved over the image! A 4″x 5 1/4″ basic white layer was embossed with the Hearts of Love 3D Embossing Folder. The corners were nipped with a corner rounder.

For this card, the greeting was heat embossed on Vellum. Be very careful to not overheat the vellum and keep moving the heat tool. I love the way it turned out. The two largest Perennial Postage Dies were sandwiched together to create the frame. This was layered onto a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Real Red paper which was popped up with dimensionals onto the card base.

My final card was SUPER easy to make! The greeting was stamped on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White which had the corners rounded. It was placed on a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Basic Black. Three Basic Rhinestones add just a touch of bling.
