One Card Three Ways

These cards are all created using the Along These Lines and Fabulous Saying (February Product of the Month) stamp sets. I just wanted to show different ways to make the same basic card.

The images are colored in different ways and presented with different layers but all are clean and simple cards with the same main image.

This flower is colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers in Bubble Bath and Old Olive. It has an extra Basic Black Layer that is 4″ x 5 1/4″.

The cake inside is colored with Watercolor Pencils so there is no bleed through.

Rather than coloring this rose, the image is stamped on a piece of patterned paper from the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper pack. Then it’s layered onto a Pretty in Pink matte.

No coloring was added to the inside on this card.

Here the flower was watercolored in Lemon Lolly with hints of Peach Pie. The leaves were done in Garden Green. The ink was picked up with a Water Painter Brush. NOTE: When doing this on the Basic White paper instead of Watercolor Paper, do not use very much water, as the paper will pill and distort.

A Watercolor Pencil was used to color the heart inside.

No gems were added to keep the cards very simple and clean but of course, if you’re a bling girl, be sure to add some.
