This fun layout combines a Book Fold with a Z Fold for a double Fun Fold. I shared a card created by Karen Titus last Friday using this technique and today I have a couple of cards that I created with it. I’ve tweaked the measurements a bit to fit my style.

When I die cut the strips with the paws I didn’t realize that it would cut off the side strips. I started with a piece of black that was 3/4″. Luckily I centered the die, lol. I like the tiny strips of black on the edges but it was a bit tricky to work with those super narrow pieces.

The greetings are heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. I did toy with the idea of coloring the flowers and the dog’s bandanas but decided to leave it all just black and white.

This card was made for my Book Fold Z Fold Combo Video Tutorial It uses the Splash of Sparkles Designer Series Paper and the Springtime Scenes Bundle. I might add a few rhinestones to the card yet, but as usual I’m ruminating on it.

Here are the dimensions that I chose for these cards:

• Base 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″, 6 1/2″ & 8 3/4″
• DSP strips 3/4″ x 4″ two of them
• Center cardstock 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
• Center DSP 3 1/4″ x 4″
