Dogs Rule! At least it seems that way with the swap cards that I received using the Cutest Crew Bundle, lol. All three crafters chose the dog images.

First let’s look at Lisa’s card. I love the paw prints dancing across the background. The greeting is heat embossed with White Embossing Powder and I love the placement of it. The little baker’s twine bow adds a pop of red to the edge of the greeting.

And look at the detail that Lisa has colored in on the pups!

The background of the white paper has been lightly colored using a Blending Brush and maybe Balmy Blue ink. Each pup is carefully colored to give it personality and character. The entire layer is lifted up with dimensionals to make it really pop.

Here are the dimensions of the papers used:

• Crumb Cake base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
• Basic Black 4 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
• Basic White 4 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
• Basic Black 2 1/4″ x 1/2″

Tracy has used the die cut paws border to outline her pups. This die cuts a 1/2″ border of paw prints. The background is embossed with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder. A Misty Moonlight Checked Ribbon pulls in the card base color. This is actually a panel card, which uses a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ base and has a 4″ x 10 1/2″ folded layer adhered to the center of it.

Tracy has colored all of her pups in browns to coordinate with the cards theme. This row of pups has been die cut with the coordinating die and then popped up with dimensionals.

Dena’s card is done in Petunia Pop with the dog’s neckerchiefs and tags in matching colors. The background is a piece of the Two-Tone Cardstock and some of the white core shows through when embossed. I can’t remember the name of this embossing folder and it is no longer available.

Here is a close-up of Dena’s pups. I love how each of these ladies added different personalities to the pups.
