Christmas to Remember

I had so much fun creating cards with the Christmas to Remember stamp set and matching Christmas Pinecone Dies that I will be sharing several cards created with the Christmas to Remember Bundle this week. They are part of the Painted Christmas Suite from page 16 – 19 in the July to December Mini Catalog. The Painted Christmas Suite includes two stamp sets, both with coordinating die sets and some fun embellishments too.

This pretty card is so simple to make and would be a great design for making multiple cards for a Christmas card mailing. The Painted Christmas Designer Paper has 12 fun designs and 6 coordinating colors that could be used for matting.

Paper Dimensions:

Pear Pizzazz base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4″

Evening Evergreen matting 3 1/4″ x2 3/4″ and 1 1/4″ x 4″

Early Espresso matting 3/4″ x 4 1/4″

Painted Christmas DSP 3″ x 2 1/2″ and 1″ x 3 3/4″

Basic White greeting 1/2″ x 4″

Soft Succulent scrap for pine bough die cut

The greeting is stamped with Early Espresso ink and a trio of Brushed Metallic Dots are added for decoration. The Christmas Pine Cone Die used for this pine sprig cuts a large panel of needles, that can be cut apart. I found that I got 3 nice sized sprigs from I die cut panel. I did find that because of all the tiny needles, I had the best luck getting nice clean cuts by running the die through back and forth once, then carefully turning the die 90 ° and then running back and forth again. A die brush on the end of the Take Your Pick tool works great for removing the little scraps.
