Christmas W Fold Pop Up Card

I had an extra card base from the Halloween W Fold cards that I posted about on September 30 and I decided to use some of the Christmas Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper and make a Christmas card with the left over base. I went for a light and fun theme and used several different holiday stamp sets.

For the inside panels I pulled a bunch of stamp sets down from the shelf and used some fun image.

The Poinsettia is from the Merriest Moments stamp set. I cut out a mask for the top set of petals because I didn’t like the way the two layers got muddled when stamping one over the other. The ink colors are Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron, and Bumblebee.

The cute little hamster is from the Sweet Little Stockings stamp set. The ink colors are Tuxedo Black and Flirty Flamingo. It’s colored in with Stampin’ Blends in Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo, and Soft Suede.

The third panel has packages from the Sweet Little Stockings stamp set, stamped in Flirty Flamingo and Mint Macaron then colored in with the matching Stampin’ Blends.

The Peaceful Deer stamp is inked in Flirty Flamingo.

The greeting on the front is from the Holly Jolly wishes and I’ve backed it with a scalloped circle and strip of Grapefruit Grove Foil from an old pack of retired foil that I had on the shelf.

Watch a similar card being made on my W Fold Pop Out Technique Video. The card on the video uses only the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Paper and Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set to decorate the card.

Place a $50 order using Hostess Code YNW4DT4X and I will email you a pdf with instructions for this card. I’m sorry to note that the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Paper has been discontinued, but there are other beautiful papers that can we used with this card technique. Be sure to check out the Seasonal Sale items before finishing up your order.
