Now that I have the important message taken card of, I have a card to share from a demonstrator event that I attended on Saturday called Creativity Now.
This event was an online event and the cards all used the Splendid Day Suite from the upcoming July to December Mini Catalog. The Splendid Day Suite is a summer themed collection geared towards our stampers across the globe who don’t have snowy winters. I chose to use the Forever Fern stamp set and Forever Flourishing Dies instead. I also had my June Paper Pumpkin Kit with me at the cabin and used items from it. The berries and greeting on this card are from the Paper Pumpkin Kit.
I didn’t have any gems up at the lake but did decide to add a few when I was taking the photos of the card. The one part of the Spending Day Suite that I did purchase was the gorgeous designer series paper. The paper is foiled on one side with white images on the foil. The foil is done in several colors. This card uses the floral backside of one of the foil pieces and I had a really hard time putting this piece of paper foil down, lol.
Stampin’ Blend Markers were used to scribble on the white layer to create a colorful background ant then the berries were stamped in coordinating colors. I didn’t bring along a Pool Party ink pad so the top berries are done in Soft Sea Foam. I’lll have more of the cards from the event to share with you this week.
