Hexagon Pop Up Easter Card

This is a WOW card that requires some time and work but it’s sure cute when it’s done! I made about a dozen of these because once I started I just couldn’t stop.

I used a variety of colors and images but mostly the Easter Bunny stamp set and Bunny Punch along with the stamp set from the Sweet Springtime Paper Pumpkin Kit. The hardest part of this card is making the base. I’ve done a video tutorial for those of you who want to tackle one of these Hexagon Pop Up’s.

Here’s a top view of the card and you can see where all the decorations are adhered in the slots. Some are glued directly into the slots with liquid glue and others are positioned on window sheet material to get them higher up.

Some have matte layers on the ‘belly band’ strip, like on this card, while others have the decorations adhered direct.

Some have a mix of brown (Pecan Pie) bunnies and white. Others have just white bunnies.

This one has some flowers from the Fluffiest Friends stamp set.

The More Dazzle Specialty Paper adds some shine to these butterflies from the Fluffiest Friends stamp set with an additional butterfly from the Easter Bunny set flying above.

Here’s one with some softer colors and I decided to make the bird from the Fluffiest Friends into a Robin, hehehe.

For this one, I die cut the Cheerful Daisies DSP for the belly band decorations.

All of the cards got carrots, because the bunnies need something to eat!

I did some girly ones in pink with colored eggs and flowers too.

This one makes me think of picnics with the gingham paper.

Here a shot of the whole set, and these are just Easter cards. Imagine the fun with wedding, anniversary and birthday cards, oh my!

Remember you can see the directions for the Hexagon Pop Up Base on my video tutorial.
