#DOswts430 Challenge

Today’s card is inspired by a Sketch for the #DOswts430 Challenge. I love card sketches for inspiration! The new 2024-2025 Stampin’ Up! catalog has a whole bunch of sketches on page 22, be sure to check them out.

This sketch looks like it would be super fast right? I managed to add some inlay that took me way more time than I expected but I love the way the card turned out.

I used the new Peach Pie In-Color card stock for the card base and the new Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper in two Peach Pie colored patterns. The DSP rectangles are each 2 5/8″ x 2″.

This pretty label is from the new Unbounded Love Dies. My first plan was to just stamp the greeting on Very Vanilla paper and slap it onto the card front. Then I thought, “a Petunia Pop outline would look nice”. Next, I wanted the leaves to show up more, so I found the little pop outs from the Very Vanilla version and then adhered them into the Petunia Pop Version. If you want to try this, I would suggest leaving the little pieces in the leaves until ready to inlay them so that it’s easier to know which little bit goes where.

For the inside, a leaf die cut was used as a mask and then a Blending Brush was used to add Peach Pie ink over the mask. The greeting from the Unbounded Love stamp set was added in Petunia Pop ink.

A trio of Petunia Pop Shimmer Gems was add in the top right quadrant and a greeting was added to the corner of the envelope.
