Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards

CASE from the 2019-2020 Catalog

Hello,

This card is one of the Make ‘n Takes from my New Catalog Open House that took place last Friday. As you can see from the photo above I CASED it right out of the new catalog. The Bird Ballad Laser Cut Card Tin is easily overlooked in the catalog but the card bases are stunning in real life! You get 12 card bases with the laser cut fronts and matching scalloped edge envelopes all in very vanilla and they come in a pretty pink floral tin,

For this card, we placed a piece of vellum cardstock behind the laser cut front. I cut the vellum just a smidge smaller than 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and we glued them on with Liquid Multi Glue. Just a lay a small bead around the frame on the inside of the card and then add the vellum. I love the silvery glow that the vellum gives the card. The circle of very vanilla is cut using one of the Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies and then stamped. I love the Braided Linen Thread for a natural look. I think it keeps the card from being overly frilly. The label is cut with the new Stitched Nested Labels Die from a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock, which is one of the new In-Colors.

I almost forgot to mention the Bird Ballad Trinket that we added. I did only add one trinket instead of the two shown in the catalog. I only had one container for the open house and wanted to make sure that there were enough for everyone. If I had planned ahead, I would have ordered another set, but I’ve become a last minute girl. Time moves much faster than I do!
