Even though I have no granddaughters to make birthday cards for, I still couldn’t pass up the unicorn in the Leave a Little Sparkle stamp set. I used a gold Wink of Stella pen to ink the greeting stamp and the swirls. I also filled in the unicorn hooves and the stars with the gold Wink of Stella.
When I started coloring in the mane and tail, I thought about my horse, Teako, who has a gorgeous main and tail made up of several colors.
He looks much better all brushed and gussied but I didn’t have time for that this morning and couldn’t find a photo. In his younger days, he would toss his mane and hold his tail out like the unicorn on the stamp, but like me he doesn’t do much prancing anymore.
