I just returned from my work holiday party, of course we have a snow storm going on. We took our truck to give us a little more clearance with the snow drifts. It made me think of this card, so I thought that I would share this truck card tonight. We had a great turn out even though it was a bit harder than normal getting there.

If you need a birthday card for guy who considers his truck a good friend, the Petal to the Metal stamp set offers a great truck stamp. I’ve colored the truck with Stampin’ Blends. The main truck is Dark Night of Navy with Light Night of Navy highlights. The headlights are Light Daffodil Delight. The tires and mirrors are done with Light Smoky Slate and Light Basic Black. The windows are colored with Light Seaside Spray. When I finished coloring the truck, I cut it out with paper snips. Remember to move the paper instead of the scissors for a smooth, even cut.

The Chicken Wire is stamped with Smoky Slate ink, and the greeting is done with Tuxedo Black ink.
