I needed some inspiration for some Easter cards and The Card Concept Challenge was a great starting point. Oh my, there is so much in this photo that could be used to inspire a card! Flowers, a cool lamp, the birdcage, a clock, the dresser, but I chose to focus on the intriguing cross.
My card is Clean and Layered. I started with a background stamped with the Birch Background stamp. The frame is created with the Heirloom Frames Dies and the crosses are all created with the Crosses of Hope Dies.
I really debated with myself as to whether to add a greeting to the front or not. I did decide on a greeting but I didn’t want it to overtake the cross, so I stamped the greeting in black. I’m still not sure that it adds to the card or not, what do you think?

your card is so perfect for this challenge, Robyn – I, too, sometimes find it hard to decide whether to use a sentiment on the front of the card – I think you did a great job of integrating it into your design – Happy Easter!

Your card is beautiful with the rustic wood background. I like the sentiment that looks like it flows in the wood. It definitely doesn’t compete with the wonderful cross. The frame is elegant and perfect for the cross. Have a Blessed Easter.
