Time for another STARS Blog Hop! I feel like a mule with all four hooves dug in, why does time go by so FAST! Even with being home full time, I seem to not get done all the things on my to do list. Of course, it doesn’t help that I seem to forget half of them. I have found time to catch up on some reading though.
So, I have to admit that I really wasn’t thinking about Father’s Day or Graduation yet, but I did see lots of the Scrappy Strip Technique cards online and decided to have a go at it for a Father’s Day card. I love this image from the A Good Man stamp set and the greeting. I have 2 sons who are dads and they are both great fathers, and I’m really proud of them.
I had several 2″ x 6″ strips of the Terracotta Tile and Pretty Peacock 2019-2021 Designer Series Paper left over from another project so I decided to stick with those 2 colors and actually use up some scraps. I cut them down to 1″ strips and then cut those diagonally. I found that if I got overly OCD about the strips being spaced perfectly, I started going crazy! Then I asked myself what would my grandsons do? At that point, I started to have fun with it and not shoot for it being perfect.
