Fall is my favorite season. I have to admit, I’m not ready for fall yet. I’ve been enjoying summer. We’ve spent lots of time at our lake lot and my gardens are looking good. When the temps hit the 90’s though, it’s time for me to head into my craft room.

I may have gone a little overboard on the stamping on this card? I just opened this new stamp set which will be available to order starting August 4 and I wanted to play with all of the stamps. I just love the all the 2-step stamps in this set. I heat embossed the outline image on the leaves that I used the matching punches to cut out. I love the combination of Copper embossing powder with Cinnamon Cider ink for the fill in color stamp. It’s perfect for the oak leaves.

Did you notice the foiled paper in the background? It’s called Gilded Autumn Speciality Designer Series Paper and it’s gorgeous! The elegant designs are done in earthy colors with copper foil and gold foil on some designs. Some images can be cut out using the matching Autumn Punch Pack which can be purchased as a bundle with the Beautiful Autumn stamp set. There are 12 sheets: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs in 12″ x 12″. Colors in the paper are Cajun Craze, copper foil, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, gold foil, Mint Macaron, and Very Vanilla.
