If you like handmade cards but don’t know where to start, the Paper Pumpkin craft kits could be the answer for you. Each month a box of supplies arrives in the mailbox. The July kit was called Summer Nights and it came with supplies to make 3 each of 3 different designs. Follow the directions included with the kit, look for ideas for alternatives on Pinterest or go ahead and experiment with designs on your own. Best of all, each kit comes with a stamp set that will become part of a stamp library that will last for years.

For this card, I added embossing powder, VersaMark ink and my heat tool for the fireworks. The rest of the supplies were all in the kit, including the fireworks stamp.

All of the supplies on this card where included in the kit.

This card is also made with only parts for th kit.

This card uses one of the card bases from the Add-on kit which includes 24 envelopes and card bases with the same pretty backgrounds as the original Paper Pumpkin. All of the items on this card were made with the kit except for the base.

All of the envelopes in the Add-on kit have pretty liners.

This is the third card base design in the Add-on kit. There are plenty of extra parts in the original Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin Kit to complete most, if not all of the 24 additional cards in the Add-on kit. They would be great for party invites to a summer backyard birthday campout. It might not be possible right now with social distancing, but if you’re like me, tuck that thought in the back of your mind for next year, lol.
