Trimming the Town Designer Paper Sampler Card

Looking for ways to use that gorgeous designer paper that you’ve been hoarding? This weeks #DOswts348 Challenge is a must see!

For my entry, I’ve decided to use some scrap strips of the Trimming the Town patterned paper. I did a large batch of cards using the Trimming the Town Suite for World Card Making Day and ended up with lots of scraps. I cut 5 scraps down to 1″ x 4″ and layered them onto the card front. I did some swapping around with the strips until I was happy with the placement of the designs. For the greeting, I simply cut out one of the greetings from the sheet of Trimming the Town patterned paper that is all greetings (talk about simple!). I didn’t even stamp anything for the front of this card.

For the inside of the card, I again added some patterned paper strips to carry on the theme from the card front. I did decide to use a greeting from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, which is on my list of must have stamp sets for Christmas cards.
