
Isn’t this little guy cute? The background is created by dragging those little ink spot (ink pads) across the paper to create colored stripes. The amount of ink in the pad and the pressure while dragging will vary the depth of color. Light pressure and a drier ink pad will create the look on the above card, while a wet ink pad and heavy pressure will create the look on the card below.

Cut the snowman out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and stamp the greetings directly onto the background. To create the top fold card base, score the cardstock at 5 1/2″ and then cut at 4 1/4″ to create 2 top fold bases.

Remember to snaz up the inside with some scrappy strips of patterned paper (all crafters have scraps, right?).
The little ink spots come in the Paper Pumpkin kits if you get those, if not empty ink spot pads can be purchased and filled with the ink refills.
