This card starts off with a Crumb Cake Card base that is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″.

Layer 1 is Soft Suede 4″ x 5 1/4″

Layer 2 is Crumb Cake 3 3/4″ x 5″

The dove is stamped on a scrap of white cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink using the Doves of Hope stamp set and cut with the matching die from the Detailed Doves Dies. The greeting, bough and ornament are all from the Dove of Hope stamp set and are also inked with Tuxedo Black ink. I like the way that the white dove really pops on the Crumb Cake background.

I thought about adding some rhinestones but left them off for two reasons. First, the card will mail better without them and second, I liked the simple homespun feel of the card without any bling.

What’s included?

Kits for 3 cards which will showcase the designer series papers and use 3 different layouts or techniques. All of the paper will be cut for the cards, envelopes will be included and instruction sheets for each card. Also, you will receive a link to a Zoom meeting where I will demonstrate making the cards. You will need to supply the ink, adhesives and stamps. The instruction sheets will show cards using stamps from the new January to June Mini Catalog. Either purchase the stamps to complete your cards or use stamps that you already own.
