Time for another STARS challenge. Today, I’ve chosen the Potted Succulents bundle from the upcoming January to June Mini Catalog.

The Potted Succulents Die set contains this gorgeous, intricate lace die that creates a card front with one simple pass through the die cutter. I do suggest running it back and forth a few times through the die cutter to make sure it is cut completely. The matching stamp set is called Simply Succulent. I’ve placed a simple white layer behind the die cut, for a clean look.

Open the card up and see the extradorinaiy, full colored hens and chicks planter. The flowers are colored with Stampin’ Blends, Light and Dark Mint Macaron and light Melon Mambo to highlight the tips. The pot is done with Light and Dark Terracotta Tile.

Close-up of the flowers. It does take a bit of time to color this large plant but it is stunning when finished and worth the time.
