I was so excited when my stamping buddy Daughter-in-law brought her new Woodland Wonder stamp set over yesterday and we sat down in my stamp room and played with it. It was a perfect set for a slimline card for the DOswts355 challenge. Thank you Karissa for your great timing!
I started with a Granny Apple card base that was 8″ x 9′ and scored at 4″. The Cinnamon Cider layer is 3 3/4″ x 8 3/4″ and the white layer is 3 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, then the fun part started!
There are 3 stamps that create the whole tree. They are fairly easy to line up. If you look closely you might be able to see where they are lined up. Most of the animals are included in the tree trunk stamp. The bunny is stamped separately as well as the flag and flag pole. I may have gotten a little carried away with the butterflies but they were so much fun to stamp, I added a whole bunch. A couple of clouds and a birthday greeting completed the stamping.
All of the coloring was done with Stampin’ Blends. I hope that I have included all of them in the supply list.
