This pretty tree makes me think of the Lovely As A Tree Stamp set that was a staple in the Stampin’ Up! catalog for years. Back then, we didn’t have these awesome dies! For this card, the only stamp I used was the ground stamp at the bottom of the tree, everything else is die cut.

This close up of the tree top show the luscious sparkle of the Shimmer Vellum. I’ve used the Soft Succulent for the larger die cut in the background and the Evening Evergreen for the top leaf die cut, with a Soft Suede tree trunk sandwiched between.

The fun wandering border is cut with one of the Stitched With Whimsy Dies. That name is perfect for these whimsical dies which stitch a border in several different sizes. I didn’t add a greeting to this card, but there would be room beside the trunk or at the base of the trunk if you left the grounding stamp off. I’ve adhered everything on this card with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
