It seems that the older I get the more I cherish my friends. I’m not very good about keeping in touch, but I hope that my friends know that they each have a special place place in my heart.

This card uses the awesome Beauty of Friendship stamp set. The background is stamped with the tree canopy stamp from the Beauty of Friendship set onto watercolor paper. After inking the stamp it was spritzed with water to give a soft mottled look to the background. Both the tree trunk and the leaves are die cut from the Beautiful Trees Dies. The trunk from Soft Suede card stock and the leaves from a piece of the Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper. The greeting is stamped with Evening Evergreen ink and die cut with the Stitched Whimsy die and then torn around the stitched die cut. A piece of Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon is knotted around the matted layer. A 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Soft Suede creates a binding on the fold edge of the card.
