If you watched my Friday Facebook Live at the end, I started stamping the line image from the Textures and Frames stamp set but wasn’t sure exactly what I was going to do with the image. I walked away from it, and came back an hour later with an idea in mind. Here is what I ended up with.
I started with the 4″ x 5 1/4″ basic white piece which was stamped with the 3 line stamp from the Textures & Frames Sale-a-bration, this is where I ended the FB Live. The block of Real Red lines created a flag image for the background. Next, I die cut the single stem flower from the Harvest Dies, from black card stock. The Harvest Dies are part of the Harvest Meadow Suite found on pages 54-56 of the July – December Mini Catalog. The stem is lined up at the place where the stamped images meet, covering up the edges. The greeting is stamped on a 1″ x 3″ piece of basic white cardstock with Night of Navy ink. The greeting is from the Nature’s Harvest stamp set, which is part of the Harvest Meadow Suite. It’s shadowed by a 1″ x 3 1/4″ strip of Pacific Point. Echoing the Pacific Point blue is a matte layer that is 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″, all layered onto a Basic White Thick card base that is scored at 4 1/4″.
The Textures & Frames stamp set is found on page 12 of the Sale-a-bration catalog. It is one of the items that can you can choose to get for free with a $50 order. The image that was used on this card is the one that initially caught my eye. This is the first card that I’ve created with it and I love the way it turned out.
