It’s hard to decide which aspect of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is my favorite. There are lots of great perks but for me the two at the top of the list are saving money buying stamping supplies and making friends with other creative people. This past week I was able to have a “play date” (my son Ethan’s term) with my fellow demonstrator and Hollywood Stamping Chick team member Sandy. We combined supplies for this card. The Wild Cats Bundle is mine and the Diorama Bundle is Sandy’s.

The layers can all be cut 4″ x 5 1/4″ to make it simple or to make hiding the edges of the bottom layers easier, cut the Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry layers 3 3/4″ x 5″. The Crushed Curry layer has been embossed with the Animal Print Embossing Folder. The design was inspired by a card that Sandy had seen on Pinterest but the cat was the green one cut out from the Wild Cats Designer Paper. Neither one of us liked a green cat so we stamped and die cut the cat. Lining up the face on the tiger was the most difficult task. I haven’t yet found a good trick to share for making that easier. Maybe after creating about a dozen more Wild Cat cards, I’ll find a solution to share with you.

Start with the largest Diorama Die on the In the Wild Designer Paper layer. If you want the diorama die cuts to mirror each other (mine don’t) use the first layer as a pattern to place the next smaller die onto the layer which will go under it. All of these layers are adhered flat but for more dimension, pop them up with dimensionals (always have plenty on of these on hand, be sure to add a pack to your order).

Stop by tomorrow to see the sister card, or maybe I should call it the baby, lol. After creating this card, there were the cut outs left from the diorama die cuts and they couldn’t be thrown away (OH, MY!!)
