Giving Gifts Dies

Today I’m sharing another card that I created while on a camping trip. I was able to transfer my photos once I got home and found my adapter (right where I left it!)

I thought that the picnic table made a perfect background for this card with Santa flying over the trees. The trees were a bit too busy though to have behind Santa so I cut out a second Tailor Made Tag, using a snowflake patterned design from the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper. The cute tree pattern is also from the Tidings of Christmas paper pack.

Paper Dimensions:

Basic White Thick Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Scored at 4 1/4″

Cherry Cobbler 4″ x 5 1/4″

Tidings of Christmas DSP 3 1/2″ x 5″

Basic White 2″ x 2″

Evening Evergreen 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″

Basic Black for die cut tag

Tidings of Christmas DSP for die cut tag

Here is a view of the lake from our campsite. I grew up in northern Minnesota and miss the pine forests. I do of course have a red pine, white pine and 2 jack pine trees in my yard as well as a couple of rows of spruce windbreaks. When our farm was hit by a tornado a few years ago I lost the jack pines that my dad had brought me when I moved here. So my poor little jack pines are just starting out, not even as big as the small trees in this picture.

This close up photo show the detail of the Tailor Made Tags dies. There is stitching all the way around. To cut this tag, simply place the Santa and sleigh die from the Giving Gifts Die set inside one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies and cut them together.

Some version of these cards is going to be at my Christmas Stamp a Stack Class on September 15. At the Stamp a Stack class you will make 2 each of 3 card designs. Register for classes on my website.
