Today, I have two swap cards showcasing the Encircled in Friendship Bundle from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. The Encircled in Beauty Dies have these pretty filigree circles and the matching Encircled in Friendship stamp set has 7 thoughtful greetings and 2 floral images.
Susan’s card also incorporates the Stitched Greenery Die on the background layer. This gorgeous die is 6″ x 4 3/4″, creating an entire card layer. It can be found on page 165 of the Annual Catalog and is used on a card on page 82. It’s one of those hidden gems in the catalog. Susan has also used a strip of the Mint Macaron Soft Velvet Ribbon and some Genial Gems.
I wondered if it was coincidence that both Susan and Cathy created cards with the Encircled in Friendship Bundle in soft greens, with green ribbons or does friendship speak to us in the greens of earth tones? At any rate, Cathy has used a different die from the Encircled in Beauty Die set, so it was great that we get to see two of the options in the set.
Cathy has used the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder on the white portion of the background and a piece of the In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper on the bottom. There are 2 choices for these paper packs and this one is from the 2021-2023 set with the Evening Evergreen color. She has finished the card off with a wrap of the Evening Evergreen 3/8″ Chevron Weave Ribbon and some In Color Jewels.
All in all, two beautiful cards that are similar but each with their own unique characteristics. I hope that these cards have inspired you to create a card to share with a good friend.
