As promised on yesterday’s post, here are the other two cards that I created using the Marble Rolling Technique.

Isn’t this Simply Elegant Speciality Paper AWESOME! For this card, I decided to go a bit shinier and use some copper foil to coordinate with the Simply Elegant designer paper. I actually ended up cutting my marbled paper a bit because I wanted more of the pretty Simply Elegant foiled paper to show. The butterfly and bricks are cut from the Brilliant Wings Dies and the greeting is from the Pansy Patch stamp set.

Here’s a close up of the marbled piece with the die cuts and stamped greeting.

For my final Marble card, I added a few drops of Cherry Cobbler with the Pumpkin Pie from the previous two cards. The Pampered Pet is stamped with Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend Markers and given a Real Red collar before die cutting with the matching Pets Dies. I thought about adding a die cut dog bowl to the card but wasn’t sure if the recipient would think that I was saying that dog food would be a treat, so I opted for a little bow instead.
The checkered designer paper in the background is from the HUGE Pattern Party Hostess Reward Pack. It is one of the Hostess only items that can be purchased with the Hostess Rewards. If your order reaches $150 it starts to earn Hostess Rewards, just saying, (Party of ONE qualifies!)
