This card definitely DOESN’T qualify for the Quick and Easy category, but WOW, it’s a show stopper! There are 5 layers if you count the boughs! It starts off with a simple Basic White Thick card base. Next, is a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of regular weight Basic White embossed with the Merriest Frames Embossing Folder (without any die cutting). The next layer is embossed and die cut (all at once) using the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder and Die and layered right on top of the matching embossed image below it. By layering one embossed image over the other this gives it even more dimension. The greeting is stamped on a label that has been die cut from the Merriest Frames Die set, inked with Evening Evergreen ink. The boughs are also stamped with Evening Evergreen ink and then die cut with the matching dies from the Merriest Frames Die set. A generous spattering of Subtle Shimmer Sequins was added as a final touch to give the card a bit of sparkle.

If I had to choose a favorite Christmas card that I’ve made this year, this one would win the prize!
