All of my Creative Cards Class attendees lived through creating a Never-Ending Fun Fold Card last night! There were a few miss steps, tear downs and re-do’s but everyone walked away with a gorgeous card in the end! I’m taking a few minutes break before my Christmas Tea Event starts. I have the cookies on trays and my new tea kettle ready!
This pretty poinsettia is part of the Merriest Moments Bundle. There are both stamps and dies to create pretty Poinsettias and I totally overlooked the poinsettias until today!
This poinsettia is simply die cut, without any stamping, from the Red Velvet paper. A gold Metallic Pearl was added to the center. Some Holiday Rhinestones were added for sparkle and Real Red ink was used for the greeting.
The Merriest Frames Embossing Folder was used on a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White and then added to the front of the Thick Basic White card base. The greeting is stamped directly onto the embossed layer.
The card works well in either landscape or portrait orientation. I just can’t believe that I totally missed these pretty flowers until now! I love the velvet paper too! If you like it, make sure to get some on an order soon as it is on the retiring list.
