The Friendly Hello stamp set and coordinating designer series paper are one of the $100 level SALE-a-bration rewards found in the January – February SALE-a-bration catalog. Wow, what a great deal to get a stamp set with 13 photopolymer stamps PLUS 12 beautiful sheets of designer paper with coordinating designs ALL for FREE!
For this card the base is done as a top fold. The Basic White Thick cardstock is cut 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. The left bottom corner is nipped with a corner rounder.
To make the bird stand out, the image is die cut with the Layering Circle dies and then matted with another circle die cut from Pale Papaya card stock. The bird is colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers. Almost the entire area behind the bird is also filled in with color from a Light Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blend Marker. A bit of color lifter was used to add some highlights to the bird.
The rows of leaves on the bottom are from the Tulip Fields stamp set and are done in Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green and Pool Party inks. The 1″ x 4 1/4″ stripped paper is from the Friendly Hello DSP pack. Isn’t it AWESOME! I love the stripes. A sprinkling of Jewels completes the card. I love the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels, so bright and cheerful.
For the inside, I echoed the front with the stripes and leaves, but haven’t added any greeting inside yet. This gives just the perfect amount of space for a short hand written note.
