Daffodil Daydream

Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers. I love all of the different varieties with unique color combinations. My grandmother used to have a whole huge corner garden dedicated just to daffodils. The Daffodil Daydream Bundle is one of the stamp sets that I didn’t purchase, but luckily I talked my team member Sandy Reid into buying it and then borrowed it from her. Thanks, Sandy!

The lined background paper is from the Daffodil Afternoon SALE-a-bration DSP pack. It’s my favorite design in the pack, I have no idea why, there are lots of pretty daffodil designs too.

There are several layers in the die set, to create the daffodils. I really like that the leaf and stem dies have 2 sets each tipped a different direction. There are also 2 butterfly dies.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large bunch of daffodils and colored them with Stampin’ Blend Markers. A Light Smoky Slate marker was used to outline the entire image to give it dimension.

The Easter Blessings greeting is on a die cut from the Potted Succulent Dies. The Flirty Flamingo strip is stamped with a border stamp from the Daffodil Daydreams set, I love the swirly scrolls!
