This cute card is CASEd from Susan Burke, a fellow demonstrator. When I saw the card during a Zoom meeting I HAD to make it! I switched it up a bit, using a Bumblebee cardstock for the card base instead of gray which Susan had used. Both look awesome!
I liked the card so much that I included it in my February Creative Cards Class in the Mail Kit. If you would like to get the kit, I still have a few left. It includes all of the paper parts for this card and 2 others for only $12 including shipping. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want one.
The card starts with an unfolded base of 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ with a 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ strip scored at 1 1/2″ added to the center.
Next, a 8″ x 5 1/4″ piece scored at 4″ was added to the base. The DSP on the left covers the bleed thru from the Stampin’ Blends used to color the image on the front.
Close the card and here is the image that is on the front. The Fun Flap will fold over this image. The Bumblebee base of the Fun Flap is 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″.
These mice have totally taken over this card, lol. The inside of the flap too! Did I mention that the Mischievous Mice stamp set is a Hostess Reward set? When an order reaches $150 it begins earning Hostess Rewards. The Hostess Rewards can be used on anything in the catalog but if you choose the Hostess only items you get more bang for the buck! The items are always priced lower than normal.
Tie a bow on the top to finish off the card and these sweet mice will make someone smile on their birthday.
