Today’s card is part of the DOstamperSTARS Challenge and the theme is either Moms or Dads. I’ve chosen to make a Mother’s Day card. I literately opened the box from my latest order and saw the new Sending Smiles stamp set and knew that I had to use this stamp set for the challenge card.
The new Sending Smiles stamp set has 8 one line greetings to match up with the large Sending greeting. As you can see from my card, it also has coordinating dies, YAY! The flowers and leaves all have coordinating dies as well.
There are 2 dies for the word sending, one for the shadows and one for the top. I love these shadowed words! For this card, I only used the dies for the word sending but there is a stamp as well. There are two label dies to match both the long and short greetings.
Two of the new 2022-2024 In Color inks are used for the flowers. They are so vibrant and worked well with the Abstract Beauty Designer Paper that I chose for this card.
The scrap from the Abstract Beauty paper was cut in half and added to the inside of the card. I hate throwing out the pretty scraps of designer paper and the inside of a card is a perfect place to use them. The inside greeting comes fro the Celebrating You stamp set which has 16 assorted occasion greetings and is carrying over into the new Annual Catalog.
