The new Sending Smiles Bundle (stamp set and matching die set) is a must have for card makers! The die set includes a pair of dies that cut out the large word, ‘sending’ and a smaller die to layer on top. The large one can be used as a shadow or can be stamped on with the matching stamp. It’s so cool and offers lots of variations. Then there are 8 phrases to use with the large word. How cool is that! There are 2 label dies to fit the phrases and also dies to cut out the flowers and leaves.

For this card, I die cut the shadow layer and then stamped on it. I did learn a way to line up the stamp more easily using the Stamparatus. Be sure to watch a quick tutorial that I did showing this method.

The background for this card is a piece of the Lovely Layers Vellum which has been embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder. To adhere the vellum to the card base, first adhere all of the decorations on the front and then flip the piece over and add liquid glue behind the decorations so that they cover the glue spots.

Add Wink of Stella glitter to the flower for an extra touch!
