Today’s card uses the quick and easy Flip It Technique with the Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper and Sending Bundle. It is #6 SPLIT for the Ten Pin Creative Challenge.

Start with a 4″ x 6″ piece of the Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper (FYI make sure that the patterns on both sides are going the same the direction and the way the that you want). Tear the paper in half. Layer onto the card base leaving an equal border on all sides with each side flipped a different direction. This way you get to see both sides of two sided paper. The extra 3/4″ will give some wiggle room for curved tears.

The die cut sending was inked in Tuxedo Black and then Wink of Stella was added over the ink to add some sparkle. It was also popped up with dimensionals, the Foam Adhesive Sheets would have worked better but raising the word up was an after thought. I’ve added the link for the Foam Adhesive Sheets at the bottom for those of you who plan first, lol. The Daffodil Delight flower centers are also from the Sending Dies, this die cuts 2 flowers at a time, yay! Matte Black Dots were added to the centers.

Because I wasn’t careful about looking at the pattern directions on both sides of the paper, I ended up with some scraps of the Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper, so I added a strip to the inside greeting. I left the writing area small because sometimes I just want to say hello and not write an entire letter.
I hope that you have a wonderful day and remember to check the pattern direction on both sides of the designer paper, hehehe, or add an extra pack to your order if you are like me and cut first, think after.
