Simple Stamping

Today’s card is devoted to those people who enjoy stamping occasionally but don’t want to devote 40 hours a week to it like some of us crazy stamping ladies do! It uses a limited amount of supplies. This card features the Sending Smiles stamp set which is made of a clear photopolymer material to make lining up images easy.

Paper Dimensions:

  • Basic White Thick Card Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Scored at 4 1/4″
  • Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White 2 1/2″ x 4″

There are 3 colors of ink used on this card, Tuxedo Black for the words, Shaded Spruce for the leaves and flower centers, and Calypso Coral for the flower petals. The ‘g’ in sending swooped down too low to center the white flower layer so it is positioned off to one side.

Add a flower on the inside of the card to make it pretty too! The Sending Smiles stamp set has 7 greetings to combine with the large Sending greeting and 13 various flower and leaf images. There is also a coordinating die set if you want to step it up to the next level. The Sending Smiles stamp set is a great choice for beginning stampers and will cover many occasions. (It’s also a fun one for us old pros!)

Not sure which which color of ink pads to purchase? Tuxedo Black should be first on your list. Next, look at which Designer Series Paper you are purchasing. There is a list of colors used in the paper designs in the paper description. For this card, choose a green and a flower color from the colors in the paper pack. Pick colors that are your favorites, that way you will get more joy from stamping.

I hope that you have a wonderful day and if you have any questions about choosing products send me an email.
