These hippos, created by Jill Hamlett are definitely sweet on each other. I love the glasses! They are one of the die cuts in the Hippo Dies. Notice the pretty silver foil paper behind the hippos? That is another SALE-a-bration freebie, the Silver & Gold 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. I love how Jill added a warm glow by adding color with a Blending Brush.

This cute little girl is all ready for the recital! Notice the way that Brenda has framed her in a square with a circle die cut? I like how the pink striped designer paper, from the Design a Daydream Hostess Reward, looks like a stage curtain.The fussy cut tutu and slippers add some nice detail.

It’s amazing how a few brush strokes from a marker to add shadows and rosy cheeks really add to the effect.

Lisa’s card features a hippo stamped on white cardstock and colored with Stampin’ Blends. The greeting is from another awesome SALE-a-bration item, the Amazing Phrasing stamp set. The Amazing Phrasing stamp set is free with a $100 purchase and with 17 photopolymer stamps it’s a great choice.

Colette’s little hippo is out dancing in the rain. I love the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper with the crossing stripes and the way Colette has coordinated the card colors around the paper. The Rings of Love DSP is another item from SALE-a-bration. It coordinates with the Ringed with Nature Bundle but it sure works great with this dancing hippo too!

This final card by Sandi Eby might look a bit familiar. I copied Sandi’s card for my Creative Cards Class this month and posted it a few days ago. My card was a bit simpler with a few less die cut details. Sandi’s card is definitely a WOW card.
